I am studying interactions between M and M-like proteins of Streptococcus pyogenes and human fibrinogen. I am aiming to identify structures of the complexes through X-ray crystallography and cryo-EM to establish consensus in binding motif of M and M-like proteins to fibrinogen. Based on that, my aim is to develop vaccine aiding against Strep A infection.
