Current Lab Members

Jeet is from the city of Joy, Kolkata, India. He completed his PhD from CSIR-IICB, India where he studied  the structural change of subdomain IIa in the 5’ UTR of Hepatitis C virus (HCV) by quinoxaline small molecules that led to inhibition of HCV driven translation in HUH 7 cells. Here he aims to investigate the sequence variation by diversity-generating retroelements in BPP1 bacteriophage. Outside the lab, Jeet loves sports, hiking and traveling.
